Welcome to the German Lutheran Ministry of the South East!
We are a group of three protestant congregations, who regularly celebrate German language services in London and nearby. We would like to invite you to experience the life of a Lutheran congregation with us. We serve an area stretching from Luton in the North to Brighton in the South. The most westerly part of the district is the Kings Cross area of London, while Canterbury lies at its eastern extremity. In the course of our parish work in all our member congregations, children are baptised, couples are married and funerals are held for our deceased. In addition, we try – as far as we can – to organise a system of pastoral visits. Please direct all enquiries to the Rev. Dr Ulrich Lincoln, Telephone: 020 7794 4207 or e-mail Pastor@German-Church.Org |

The big pictureTogether with the other German protestant congregations, we belong to the Synod of German-speaking Lutheran, Reformed and United congregations in Great Britain. The Synod provides our place within the ecumenical community of Christians in Great Britain: Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. Our three congregations maintain especially close contacts with the Evangelical Church in Germany, which provides spiritual care to Germans abroad through its expatriate congregations. |
